Debbie understands that going through a divorce is often one of the most difficult times in a person’s life.  That is why she offers her clients more than just quality legal counsel- she offers compassionate guidance and respect, while passionately pursuing an expedient and advantageous outcome.

In 2015, Debbie became a partner at How, Frels, Duke and Smith, P.C.  where she expanded her practice areas to include civil litigation, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in complex matters. Although Debbie is 100% committed to negotiating the best deal for all of her clients, she is always “trial ready”, which has the potential to make a huge impact on a client’s case, whether family or civil.  Debbie finds no greater reward than seeing the firm’s work result in positive outcomes for its clients.
